FE-DIY: Windows 10 Start Menu Not Working - Six Solutions

Anyone who has upgraded their older computer to Windows 10, may be experiencing problems with Cortana, Start, or the Notifications Icons becoming unresponsive. My personal favorite (and the method that I have currently turned to) is #2, but give'em all a try if you want or feel the need.
